Tartan Scarf!
Scarf: Edinburgh Woollen Mill Top: H&M Skirt: H&M Coat: Topshop (couple of years ago)
Is there ever anything that you find yourself looking for, for such a long time that you start to give up? That's what I was like with a tartan scarf! I've spent ages looking for one, they've either been the wrong colours, wrong 'size' tartan (if that makes sense), or just way too expensive! Anyway, the other day in town, I popped into Edinburgh Woollen Mill, and i've never seen so many to choose from, plus there was a pretty good deal, so I was able to buy two! It was a bit silly of me really, I probably should've thought about it earlier!
Right, I'm going to spend the rest of the night baking (and then eating) cookies, when I really should be doing some work instead! I would really love some feedback in terms of what you would like to see on this blog, I really love writing charlestownvintage, but sometimes I worry that it's just like any other, and would love to make it more personal to myself. I mentioned before about my love of history, but now it's winter, most of the National Trust and English Heritage sites are closed, so that aspect has to be put on hold!
Is there anything you would like to see more of on this blog? Please let me know, I would really appreciate your feedback! I'm hoping to incorporate a regular baking feature, would that appeal to you? I also really love interior design, and antique items, so was maybe thinking of doing something on the lines of that, not too sure how yet though! Thank you!!
Please let me know, I'd really love to find out what you think would be beneficial!
Love, Charlestown xoxo.
Great outfit, I love that coat too. Although I've bought so many coats recently I really must slow down... I can only wear one at a time! I know what you mean about the tartan scarf thing too. It's almost like there's too much tartan to choose from!

ReplyDeleteI really love your blog, one on my faves to read and I always look forward to your posts - you have nothing to worry about!! I think what you listed above about doing some interior design and antiquey type posts would be good, your room in lovely in your pics so if thats anything to go by! When i first started reading, I like the fact that you go to uni in cornwall (very jealous!) and the posts you do when youve ventured out into the seaside towns I really love!

ReplyDeleteI would love to read a baking section, once this semester finishes at uni i really want to get back into baking so would be great to read a section for inspiration :D
i think writing about interior design and antiques would be a brilliant section to read, thats not something i've really come across in the blogging world yet so would make a nice change :)
I love the look of your room btw! :)

ReplyDeletexoxo.
Love the scarf. In the summer do lots of castle posts, bit obsessed with castles. And I like your outfit posts.x
ReplyDeleteReally like your scarf!
ReplyDeleteAs for your ideas of a new direction / new features for your blog, I definitely think an antique/interior design feature would be good. I think its something a lot of people would take an interest in, but that didn't think they would - if that makes sense? I'd certainly be interested about reading stylish and affordable ways to deck out my room with antique items!
