Lace Pink Top: Zara ~ Pastel Blue Polka-Dot Trousers: Topshop ~ Rose-Coloured Loafers: Russell & Bromley
Pastel Polka-Dot Trousers, Pink Lace Top and Rose Coloured Loafers;
Hello everyone, and hello to the new month! How can it be June already, it feels like only the other day we were celebrating Easter and now the summer holidays are here! Sorry it's a pretty short post today, as I speak my family are driving down to Cornwall for a week's holiday, and I couldn't be more excited! I just hope the weather stays as amazing as it has been this past week. I'm looking forward to visiting lots of pretty Cornish towns like St Ives, and showing my family all of my favourite aspects of Falmouth, including the most delicious clotted cream ice-cream from the nearby Swanpool beach.
After handing in my last piece of second-year University work yesterday, me and Alessio visited Truro for a couple of hours, where I bought these trousers. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with trousers, I love how they look on the hanger (and on other people) and I could not resist the pastel colour of these with little white polka dots, but I always feel a bit uncomfortable in them. I never think they really suit me unless they're high-waisted, I feel a bit silly otherwise trying to constantly hoist them up, and I never have a clue how to style them, hence my pleading on twitter/instagram earlier! But these are SO pretty I just couldn't turn them down, especially after seeing how amazing they looked on the lovely Olivia. Plus, as you could probably tell by now from my other posts, I'm a bit addicted to pastel-ness at the moment, so these really are perfect.
Happy Jubilee weekend to you all! Are you doing anything special to celebrate? I really, really wanted to have a Jubilee party, and I'm missing out on the street party back home! I'll just celebrate eating lots of jubilee-themed food and plenty of cups of tea. Well, I should probably get back to tidying my room before my family arrives. Hope you all have a lovely day,
Love, Charlestown xoxo.
These trousers are perfection, I really really want them!!!
