Fancying a Change!

Blouse: Topshop Skirt: Urban Outfitters Coat: H&M Shoes: Peacocks Bag: Urban Outfitters Scarf: Edinburgh Woollen Mill
Cold and crisp mornings;
I haven't posted in ages! The past week has just gone so quickly, I spent most of it doing work and research in my bedroom which hasn't been too fun, but then went out on Saturday night which was a good way to end the week! It was 90's night at our student union, and me and Melanie dressed up as girls from Clueless, think thigh high socks, short skirts, shirts and matching prints!
I fancied a change with my outfit pictures, I don't really like having to take them in my room every time, especially as it involves me pushing my double bed right across the room on my own, ha! My housemate Emily, who studies Photography, happily took these pictures for me, thank you Emily I love them! This is the first time that I've really ever worn some sort of heel on a normal day, lately i've really been wanting to get more use out of my wedges and heels, but always too nervous to wear them. I have very similar black wedges from Topshop which are so hard to walk in, but I really love the look of them. So when I saw these in Peacocks for less than half the price, I snapped them up! I can still only manage a couple of hours in them though!
Thank you for all of your lovely comments on my last post, I don't think i've ever had so many before. Hearing all of your lovely feedback has really made me want to keep up my outfit posts, expect many, many more coming up!

Love, Charlestown xoxo.

  1. Check you out! Gorgeous post sweet, love the heels, how do you somehow manage to make everything look perfect? If I wore heels in the day I'd look ott, you look amazing! I like the outside thing, we NEED to make use of the beach & coastal paths when it gets warmer xoxo

  2. I adore your shoes! I've been looking for a pair that are wedge heels AND have an ankle strap around the ankle as I suffer from skinny feet syndrome! Are they newish? Possibly wishful thinking!

    I can relate to the no time to blog thing! Third year in uni absolutely killed my bog from Second Term sadly. I'm desperate to get back into it but I can never seem to find the time!

  11. I got to your blog from Olivia's and it is SO WEIRD seeing my own road in these pictures :) (I'm at Tremough doing Politics).

    I nearly bought some similar shoes from Dorothy Perkins ages ago but they never had my size in so I might have to check out Peacocks now :)

  17. This outfit is so lovely. Your top, skirt and coat are wonderful! I've started wearing a pair of my wedges and ankle boots with small heels during the day as well, just because otherwise I don't get any wear out of them!
