2016 is the year for retro pastels, mixtures of rich metals and stone textures, and dreamy interiors worthy of a Wes Anderson film, and I'm very happy about it - all thanks to Pantone's Colour of the Year, Rose Quartz. If you told me a year ago that in 2016 I would be daydreaming about pastel pink walls and a velvet pink sofa I would have definitely laughed. Now it's quickly becoming my favourite trend for the year and I'm really excited to see it being celebrated across furniture, interiors, fashion and stationery (hello pink everything!). If you're looking for some Rose Quartz inspo, you've come to the right place...

I don't think I'm quite ready to jump straight into clashing pastel walls, even if I've always wanted to live on a Wes Anderson set, but I wouldn't think twice about filling my room with pink accessories and stationery. Below are some of my favourite pink and copper pieces at the moment - what do you think about the trend? Thoughts on a postcard!
1. Ambit pendant lamp by TAF Architects for Muuto | 2. Pale pink Kelim rug from Holly's House | 3. Aurora round chair from Mia Fleur | 4. Dusky pink jungle leaf cushion from Holly's House | 5. City Toile wrapping paper from Holly's House | 6. Patina antiqued copper tea lights from Mink Interiors
Have you noticed I've been re-pinning this entire board? I'm in love with the trend too! x Rebecca - itscohen.co.uk
