Giveaway: Tickets to LFW's First Vintage Fashion Show!

Win a Ticket to Retrospective, LFW's first Vintage Fashion Show
Hello! This if my first giveaway in such a long time, nearly a year, but here it is and it's pretty darn special.
Anne from Kapranos PR very kindly gave me two tickets for a giveaway to LFW's first Vintage Fashion Show, Retrospective. Retrospective explores fashion from the past to predict upcoming trends, and has teamed up with some of the best vintage experts in London to create a catwalk show exhibiting one-off vintage pieces from some of the worlds finest design houses and famous names, such as Mary Quant, Ossie Clark and Chanel & Dior from the 1920's. After the catwalk show, the party will move to the dance floor with an event celebrating some of the finest aspects of fashion in the last century, which you can enjoy whilst sipping cocktails from Bourne & Hollingsworth!
Retrospective takes place on the 15th September 2012 at Bloomsbury Ballroom, and is set to be a LFW party like no other!

To enter the giveaway for a ticket to Retrospective, all you have to do is:
* Be a follower of my blog, either by GFC or bloglovin'
* Leave me a comment stating the favourite piece of vintage clothing you've managed to get your hands on!
* For an extra entry, you can tweet about this giveaway!

The giveaway closes on the 12th September, good luck!

Thank you!
Love, Charlestown xoxo.

  2. OMG! Had to enter this, of course London Fashion Week is amazing but mixed with vintage, what could be better. There is so much to choose from, I may have to go for an amazing vintage mini skirt, that looks amazing when simply teamed with a vesty and boots (I live in those items) and the colours are just amazing xx

  3. This is such a perfect giveaway! It would be a dream to attend LFW.
I find it hard to find nice vintage things but I did get a lovely vintage 'grandad' style cardigan. Unfortunately it shrunk in the wash a few weeks later. It was very sad.

  4. This is an amazing giveaway Charlotte and I can guess most bloggers like myself would love the opportunity to attend LFW! #joyyytothemax!
Well like you Charlotte I own a lot of vintage goodies , I can't get enough of them . But my favourite piece has to be my 1950's pinup esq polka dot dress not only because it's a print that's always on trend and can be mixed and watched with anything (whether it's day or night outfit). I love how also the dress has a past life , I know how soppy it sounds but I love how clothing can have a history too :). xx

  8. Amazing giveaway!
I'd love to visit more vintage stores and find unique pieces!
It would probably be 2 beautiful rings given to me on my 18th birthday from my nan.
Gorgeous silver and blue rings which are probably worth a fair bit but are more sentimental than anything!

  18. My fave ever purchase was from Poole car boot, £6 for not one but two 1960s Aquascutum coats! One was a lovely bright red dense cotton with silver buttons and big pockets and the other was knee length made from orange wool. The lady who sold them to me was so lovely and knew they were worth lots more but she said she wanted them to go to a good home !

  21. This is a dream giveaway!! I have a lot of vintage but my favorite has to be a blue strapless prom dress I found on a vintage stall on the market! It was on a mannequin and although it looked too small I had to try it on. It was too small so I left without it. A few months later I went back for a look and the owner remembered me and said she still had the dress. I ummed and ahhed, said I might be able to get it altered so she gave me a great deal as she like to sell things to people who loved them. I managed to get it altered and wore it in Paris on my 2nd wedding anniversary.
    Sorry for going on...xx
